I'm not sure what WFL is. = I like it because it makes for ease of handeling. When i want slower = speeds that require a tripod I use the RC mode and the IR transmitter that = comes with it. I have also left it in the balcony while I shot on the = floor and used it to catch the kiss from two different perspectives. = Some times I am out od position on the floor and I simply turn push the = remote and I get what ever I whish I was in the balcony to get anyhow. = Yes it is almost like having your cake and eating it too. Although I have used it with a 45-degree prism finder, it should work fine with a waste level finder. I don't like the winder, however. I believe it makes focussing the lens awkward. It protrudes on the right side of the lens, thus limiting one's ability to grip the focussing ring. Technology has moved way beyond Hassy's add-on winder. In my view, it's time it stopped adding appendages and modernized its camera. I love the Hassy for what it is. But the add-on winder is from the dark ages. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Oct 2000 18:46:59 EDT From: InfinityDT@aol.com To: hasselblad@kelvin.net Subject: Re: hasselblad V1 #1014 Message-ID: In a message dated 10/10/00 6:36:45 PM Eastern Daylight Time, Papyg@aol.com writes: << Technology has moved way beyond Hassy's add-on winder. I can't remember the last time I unfolded the rapid-wind crank, let alone wished for a motorized advance. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Oct 2000 23:31:25 EDT From: Jlaird@aol.com To: hasselblad@kelvin.net Subject: Re: hasselblad V1 #1014 Message-ID: I have to put my two cents in with Papyg. I've used the winder and found it clumsy, heavy, noisy and obtrusive. Not up to Hasselblad's usual standards. The ability to use the remote was the only positive IMHO.
