Even though I shot 9 rolls of 220 the other = afternoon on a wedding job, I never unfolded the rapid wind crank (RWC) = once. I was anxious to get an RWC, and purchased the older model, which = has a very nice set of contours and moments for rapid winding. Then, when = I found it did not work perfectly with the Polaroid back, I got the = late-model folding RWC. And I never have found the need to unfold it. In = my experience, it works better than the original knob, even folded up. Batteries have always been a challenge for me. Just in the last few = weeks, I purchased some Ni-MH cells from MAHA, rated at 1550 MAH, to = replace my 700 MAH ni-cads, for use in my flash. What I found was that = the Ni-MH do not cycle as quickly, though they do last longer, overall.
