American Airlines has the most draconian regulations. I just got a Lowe-Pro Pro-roller1 which is sized to meet the most stringent regs. It is VERY well made and will hold a large Hassi setup and looks like a normal roll-aboard bag so not to advertise what's inside. My experience has been that they don't measure the carry on for 1st class. So three bags, two can be quite large. There's no consistency between airports or airlines so it's always a gamble unless you've been the same route before recently. Even then, there's the chance of an unexpected intinerary change due to some technical problem, and you end up going through an airport you hadn't counted on. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 21 Oct 2000 15:39:00 EDT From: InfinityDT@aol.com To: hasselblad@kelvin.net Subject: Re: Carry-on Message-ID: In a message dated 10/21/00 1:22:24 PM Eastern Daylight Time, leicaman@email.msn.com writes: << I just got a Lowe-Pro Pro-roller1 which is sized to meet the most stringent regs. Rich >> For those who don't have one of these yet ($240 in B&H catalog), any $50 regulation-sized rollaboard from TJ Maxx can do almost as well, you just put a camera bag or backpack inside. Most of us have a closetfull of them, one is bound to fit as Ace Ventura would say "like a glove". ------------------------------ End of hasselblad V1 #1025 ************************** ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The Hasselblad Users Group Listserv is a public service of Absolute Internet, Inc., which is not responsible for its content.
