Did you get one system and wish you had gotten the other? I'd like to make the choice right the first time , and hopefully I can learn from your experiences. Now that the "Templates" are being used more and more frequently it can be a disaster when the trusty old carry-on or roll-aboard that used to be ok is now carried off at the boarding gate to be checked. MOST of the travel-Pro luggage and larger Lowe-Pro cases that used to be OK are now NOT. The regulations USED to state that as long as the L X H X W dimensions when added up did not exceed such and such you were ok. Now if either the width, length or height of an object is as much as a 1/4 inch too large ( as checked by template ) whoosh it goes into the hold and YOU are SOL. The Pro Roller 1 will fit through the smallest of these templates... at least until the regs change again that is! Message-ID: <14835.34387.50511.788749@rosebud.alerce.com> Somehow, I ended up with a brand new "Varta V 28 PX 6V Silver" battery. I think that it was in a bag when I rented some 6x6 stuff a while back. It's been kicking around my desk. It's new, in the package. I have no idea what it's used in. Seems ashame to throw it out. Anyone want it? I'll happily drop it in an envelope and mail it your way. First email gets it. g. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Oct 2000 20:28:18 EDT From: DentKimTerry@cs.com To: hartzell@cs.berkeley.edu, hasselblad@kelvin.net Subject: Re: Anyone want a "Varta V 28 PX 6V Silver" battery? Have you ever seen anything in any Hasselblad book or manual about how to uncock a lens and get it off of the camera? Or how to uncock a lens after it is off of the camera? The latter is doable but then you have to cock it with a coin or screwdriver before you can put it back on the camera. The Hasselblad system was not made for such things. Lenses come from the factory cocked and come off of the camera cocked. There is no easy way to do anything else and nothing has been written in that respect. Leaving them cocked is obviously the way they were meant to be left.
