Hasselblad has stated their intention to make their manuals available on their site in Acrobat/PDF format. We'll just have to wait a bit. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 04 Nov 2000 03:59:28 +0100 From: Ragnar Hansen To: hasselblad@kelvin.net Subject: Remote release Message-ID: <3A037B90.4C6E433E@powertech.no> I am looking for a remote release , electronic or wireless, for a 501. Something would have to actually push in the shutter button. I think the only Hasselblad camera that can use an electric release is the ELM/ELX series. Even my 205TCC can't be released electrically. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 6 Nov 2000 00:05:32 +0100 From: "Q.G. de Bakker" To: Subject: Re: Remote release Message-ID: <000801c0477c$e9f77780$30e9f1c3@qnu99> Ragnar Hansen wrote: > I am looking for a remote release , electronic or wireless, for a 501. > Has anybody seen something who is usable ? There are pneumatic releases: a cable release operated by air pressure applied by squeezing a rubber bulb. I believe they are something in the region of 10 meters long. You should be able to find these from Hama or Kaiser or some such company. If you do need wireless operation, since the 501 can not be triggered any other way but mechanical, you will have to find (or build) a device that can be remotely controlled and that can operate a pneumatic or cable release. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 5 Nov 2000 22:18:13 EST From: Jlaird@aol.com To: hasselblad@kelvin.net Subject: 203-FE Flash Message-ID: Will the 203FE sync at all speeds with the CF and CFi lenses like the 503CX? I'm considering purchasing a 203FE as a second body to my 503CX. I like the idea of the built in metering without a meter prism afforded by the 203FE for those quick 'grab' shots I often miss with the 503. Any information would be appreciated.
