I was frankly impressed that they got as much flexibility as they did into virtually the same mold line & weight of the original camera. Some of your ideas might (mechanical shutter speed transfer to the meter) even be able to be incorporated in the current design. In order to be able to "understand" the interface to the 203 (similar, but not identical to the 205), I built a little "cheat sheet" in Excel that I printed out and had laminated so I could carry it around in a shirt pocket. If you'd like a copy I could email you the file (and you could modify it for the 205). It's essentially a matrix with the camera operational modes (Pr, Ab, D, A, M) down one side, & the changing function of camera controls across the top of the matrix. Thus (for example), you could determine what the difference was in the camera display if you pressed the AE Lock button (0,L, "locked/metered shutter speed"), compared to the display if you pressed the Shutter Release button to the "pressure point" ("Set Aperture", L, "locked/metered shutter speed"). This little cheat sheet won't improve the display, but it might make it easier to decipher! -David Gerhardt (davidgerhardt@mindspring.com) --Apple-Mail-1515431515-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/enriched; charset=us-ascii On Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at 03:36 PM, Austin Franklin wrote: Has anyone else used a CFE lense with a 20x (for me a 205) series body and found it awkward to use the lenses built-in shutter with the camera metering system? RODAGON vs. COMPONON -S Message-ID: Hello, I am thinking of buying an enlarging lens for 6x6 and 6x7. Which one is better and in what way> RODAGON 80mm or COMPONON -S 80mm? They are very similar in price, both are six-element construction. Is there really any difference? Thank you all.
