This thing will not -- WILLLLLLLL NOT! -- maintain good contact. The result is that every third or so shot is a blank because of flash failure. I can push the danged thing in and it will still fail. To guarantee a flash, I have to pull the thing off the camera and reinsert it. I have a similar problem with my Rolle and Hasselblad cameras. Any ideas? Does anyone sell a good flash cord? Is some sort of remote a better idea? ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 08 Feb 2000 19:28:37 -0500 From: Dan Cardish To: hasselblad@kelvin.net Cc: Contax Mailing List , Rollei Mailing List Subject: Re: Flash Synch Cord Message-ID: <3.0.5.32.20000208192837.0089f710@pop.microtec.net> I had this problem with the sync cord for my elinchrom monolights. I ended up cutting off the plugs at the camera end, and attaching replaceble ones made by Kaiser. The wires are quite fine, so it takes a bit of practice to wire up the plug properly, but once done, the cords worked perfectly. Dan C.
