I love my CX's, have everything the CW has except the gliding mirror and

Not sure what you mean by dots but the screen should be clear as a bell 
except for four tick marks near the center (2 vertical 2 horizontal) and a 
very faint little circle dead center (almost can't see it).

If the 32Z2 is SCA compatible (sorry for my Metz ignorance, they have a *lot* 
of confusing--to me--nomenclature) i.e. has a removable shoe, the SCA 390 
will fit directly and you could mount the flash either on the adjustable shoe 
that fits the side rail, or else on the shoe on a prism or Hassy flash grip.  
The SCA 390 has 2 cords: one is a simple PC which plugs into the PC socket in 
the lens.  The other is a thick curly cord that plugs into the TTL socket in 
the side of the CX.  That cord is rather short.  If you want to put the flash 
up on a Stroboframe (for example) bracket or otherwise take it more than a 
few inches from the camera, you'll need an SCA307, which is an extension cord 
that goes from the top of the SCA390 to the bottom of the flash.

need the 390 adapter for your 32MZ2 flash. You can obtain this information
