Now I am looking at buying a bellows. The options are the old manual bellows with the dual cable releases or the later auto bellows. The price of a used manual bellows seems to be about half that of a used auto bellows. I would appreciate the comments of anyone who has used both as to whether the auto bellows is worth twice the money. I think that I would use it only occasionally. (Or will I get hooked on this lens and use it all the time?) Which way should I go? With lever leg locks they work well in the cold wearing gloves. However, Bogan legs are made of thin aluminum and they don't dampen vibration very well. Suggest releasing mirror first for sharpest results. That way you can even get by with lighter cheaper pod like the Bogan 3025. Get the bogan carrying strap for conviant carrying on longer treks. I have narrowed my selection down to the G201 Series 2 Reporter tripods, and the Series 3 G320 Studex. I would prefer to get the G201 Reporter tripod, since it's cheaper and lighter. Has anybody any experience with these tripods? Does the Reporter G201 have sufficient rigidity to support a blad and still get the sharpness you would expect? ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 26 Jan 1998 00:49:54 -0500 From: evanjoe685@juno.com (Evan J Dong) To: hasselblad@kelvin.net Subject: Hassey 60mmChrome lense repair Message-ID: <19980126.004958.2743.0.evanjoe685@juno.com> Can anyone recommend a parts and repair shop tha would be able to locate a focusing scale ring for an old chrome 60mm C lense? My uncle is giving me his old lense (glass is mint minus, barrel is excellent plus sans the focusing scale ring on the barrel) and it is missing this one piece on the barrel. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks . Evan _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
