Message-ID: <4d.1d208a5.25f27203@aol.com> The best sourcebook that I know of on the available items in the system is Richard Nordin's "The Hasselblad Compendium," Hove Books, 1998. It is a COMPL ETE listing of all of the cameras, lenses and acccessories made by Hasselblad! There is a picture of almost everything, accompanied by a photo or diagram (the latter being the case with the various focusing screens). NOTE: Unlike Wildi, an outstanding that both identifies and instructs relative to the use of the system, Nordin just lists and describes the system. Nordin's book is great, for example, when researching something that you are unfamiliar with that is being offered for sale on Ebay. Good luck! It was about $180, and comes with an integrated attachment for scanning film up to 4x5. It is NOT intended to replace a high end film scanner, but does a credible job of scanning medium format media. I purchased it for my son so that both of us could start a low cost introduction to digital image processing. It also came with Photoshop LE. Very good value. -David Gerhardt ------------------------------ End of hasselblad V1 #810 ************************* ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The Hasselblad Users Group Listserv is a public service of Absolute Internet, Inc., which is not responsible for its content.
