Milligan" To: hasselblad@kelvin.net Subject: Minor Problem with bay 50 filters & lenses Message-ID: <34DCCC03.462D@ibm.net> Now that I've decided to go with the bayonet lens shade for my C80 & C250 lens, I've noticed a re-ocurring problem. Perhaps someone has solved it and will share it with me. When I go on a walkabout, I usually mount my B50 polarizer on the lens, either 80 or 250. I have a bayonet type lens cover which I keep on at all times until I am about to shoot the photo. When I get everything lines up, I remove the bayonet lens cover and it also takes off whatever bay50 lens filters are attached to the lens. Any suggestions on how to stop this from happening? Does anyone make a 3rd party over the lens type lens cap that can be removed similar to the over the lens cap that one uses for Hassie lenses before placing them in their bags. BTW...the lens cap will not work with bay 50 filters in place, I've tried that a long time ago. It's a minor problem, but a pain in the ass when you've come accross some timid animal who won't wait for you to mess around with your lenes etc. ---- ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 7 Feb 98 23:58 MET From: christophe Glaudel To: Cc: How to unsuscribe & resuscribe Subject: Re: hasselblad V1 #93 Message-ID: Hi, I just change my mail adress and would like to know how to unsuscribe me at Christophe glaudel>comon@dyadel.net and suscribe for my new adrees : cglo@flashgordon.net ? hepl requested from MAJORDOMO master Thank's Please redirect the mailed answer to mailto:cglo@falshgordon.net Thank you and sorry to intrude the mailing list for this stuff, the first original mail from Hassy Mail desapear from my computer. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 07 Feb 1998 15:37:35 -0800 From: Michael Tiemann To: hasselblad@kelvin.net Subject: 93mm polarizer question Message-ID: <199802072337.PAA08559@cygint.cygnus.com> I have a 93mm linear polarizer as part of a kit I bought, but I cannot figure out how to attach it (or reconfigure it) for any of my 93mm lenses. I cannot find a metric ruler, but the filter's diameter closely matches my 93mm retaining rings, whereas the screw thread in the back appears to be about 82mm. Help! It's possible to increase or decrease the resistance of the little tabs that hold the filter in place. Look at the filter and find the 3 little tabs that are connected on one end. Bend the ones on the filters to be slightly tighter than the one on the lens cover and the cover will come off first.
