I take mostly B&W, and then most slides are scanned. I do get a thrill holding a 6X6 slide up to the light. There is something tactile; it's an object, like looking at something real rather than a miniature representation. I would like to at least see these once or twice a year see them projected on the wall. For that, a Kiev or even something like a Ballomatic (older brand) would suffice. If the Blad is so good, I don't WANT to see it! My next purchase will be a lens. By the way, I think that 6x6 cm contact prints have a charm of their own. We mostly think that they are pathetically small, but when you look at some of the early processes (like Daguerrotype), the products were often actually quite small. regards stuart ----- Original Message ----- From: ULF SJÖGREN To: Sent: Wednesday, September 06, 2000 12:34 PM Subject: SV: Off-List ----- Ursprungligt meddelande ----- Från: "stuart phillips" Till: Skickat: den 4 september 2000 17:40 Ämne: Re: Off-List > And look at the projectors!
