Message-ID: <000101c024a7$497de660$fc7e273f@rjiredff> It well may be true that Zeiss lenses are not perfectly suited for used with a native CCD chip backs... but give me a break. I have seen the results from Hassi's and Hassi lenses used with $35,000.00 Leaf digital backs and they are fantastic. Any problems with the Hassi lenses can and will be resolved via a corrector plate designed for the Hasselblad and used on the Hassi "digital magazines". Also, In reality Photo-Chemical imaging is really "Dead medium walking" Just doesn't know it yet. And no, I don't work for Kodak. ===================================================== HOT OFF THE PRESS... Kodak tops in hi-res stakes Kodak unveiled the world's highest resolution one-shot digital camera back at photokina this week. The DCS Pro Back, designed and manufactured by the multinational for medium format systems, features a full frame, 16-megapixel CCD – claiming to deliver more than twice the resolution of its nearest comparable rival and producing file sizes up to 48MB. Able to operate untethered, Kodak expects particular interest from photographers specialising in high-end commercial location work, or live subject studio shoots. Currently compatible with Hasselblad 555 ELD and Mamiya RZ film cameras, the company also plans to extend the Pro Back's availability to other systems, including large format cameras. ===================================================== No price mentioned, but here's a URL for more info: http://www.kodak.com/go/professional There's a link in plain sight. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
