Random, miscellaneous stuff: Um...let's see...
Music - I like all kinds, but here's what I listen to most: U2 (Adam Clayton is my future husband), Nine Inch Nails, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Sister Machine Gun, Pigface, Tori Amos, Love and Rockets (Kevin Haskins is HOT!), Peter Murphy, Front 242, Depeche Mode, Meat Beat Manifesto, Smashing Pumpkins, the Muffs, Jane's Addiction, the Cure, the Smiths, Rorschach Test, REM, Gavin Friday, Sheryl Crow, X, Talking Heads, Siouxie and the Banshees, KMFDM. Genres I favor: industrial, gothic, Celtic, U2. My four most favorite bands/musicians in the whole entire world are U2 (my alpha and omega), Bauhaus, Tori Amos and Nine Inch Nails. I could not live without them.
Reading materials - I like to read, but it's hard for me to concentrate on anything long enough to actually read a book. I read three of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, and while I enjoyed the ones I read very much, it took me forever to get through them. Travel books are things I really like reading. I also like to read magazines...particularly home improvement ones. I don't own a home to improve, so I don't know why I'm into those. I guess I'm a latent Martha Stewart.
Hobbies and Interests - Being the Queen Bunny. Loving and being loved by the sytry. Spending time with my friends. Liberal, liberal politics (how left can she go?). Travel. Music. Dress-up. Clubbing. Concerts. Internet. IRC. Planning social gatherings large and small. Being full of surprises. And of course, going to Disneyland!
Is she or isn't she? - I am not a "goff." I have gothic tendencies that manifest themselves in the music I listen to, the clubs I go to, what I wear when I'm not teaching (more specifically, when I go out), and my interest in jewelry, dead roses, candles and interesting antique furniture. While I can often be found in the park sporting gothy-type clothing, I am not and will never be one of the wannabes who hang out at the Matterhorn phones. End of story.
